I recently purchased a fishing kite and every time I try to send it out it spins. I don't continue to send it out because I'm afraid it will break the line and I don't want to lose my expensive kite what could i do to stop this?
Thanks Stoneman

Dear Stoneman:
A couple of thoughts come to mind. You might want to start by adjusting the swivel in front of the kite where you attach the kite line. If that doesn't work, a split shot sinker on one or both of the bottom corners may help. The kite should not spin if rigged correctly. If my suggestions don't work, find a professional captain who fishes a kite daily and ask him.
